St. Patrick Day
Patrick went back to Ireland to convert the old religion into Christians the really didn't want to convert and feared Patrick and Christianity. King Laoghaire didn't convert to Christianity, many of his family members didthe old religion soon began to fade. Patrick traveled from town to town, tearing down idols and temples and establishing the Catholic Church. By AD 444, the primatial see and first cathedral of Ireland were built.
He baptized, confirmed, and ordained priests, and he erected schools and monasteries. Thousands came into the Church under his direction. The whole island nation of Ireland was converted in just 30 years. Toward the end of his life, he wrote Confessions in which he gives a record of his life and mission. He died on March 17, 461, of natural causes.

People generally react idiotically and disrespectfully by those who are willing to step outside the box of comfortability. The creator of the alphabet was unknown but its was said that everyone made fun of him and was shame by everyone in his village. He stayed in his house and created the earliest verison of the alphabet show on the left. Even though he was laughed at he mind his buisness and continued enhancing and developing the alphabet we have today. Which is now something we use everyday and may use for the rest of our life until telepathy is created.
It was important for Don Haskins to think different because he knew blacks were just as good as whites maybe even better but no one would take them serious. If they didnt talk themsevles seriously no one would. So thats why he wanted them to try there best and was so serious on them. If he let them do whatever they wanted to they would just be framed as the usual trouble making blacks that the whites saw them as.

Heart Breaks & Remakes
We celebrate Valentine's Day, because a man named Saint Valentine. He was a priest in the 3rd century who performed secret marriages when the Roman Emperor Claudius II thought single soldiers were more likely to enlist in the army. Emperor Claudius thought if the soliders didnt have a loved one waiting for them or worring for the solider they would more likely stay in the army longer. They found out Saint Valentine was doing this so they jailed him first. It was rumored that he gavr back a womans eye sight during the jail. While jailed he wrote a letter sayig i declare today as valetines day for couples everywhere. Afterwards he was killed. Christians saw Valentine's Day as a way to honor St. Valentine. So they kept it and made it a national holiday.
The graph shows that april has a descent amount of break ups because most people fool around and make jokes. Most people take the joke to far causing a break up. There is also a huge amount of breakups during Christmas and New years because the stress of the holidays and what they do on new years cause a great amount of break ups. Lastly, a large amount of break ups are caused during spring break because people want to be free and have fun but they usually are tied down and do things people regret.

Wednesday Things are finally brighting up for the man. He is knowing his place gaining friends and has a job. He is enjoying his life a bit more even though he is jailed.
Thursday: The man finds out he going to be free exited as can be he is jumping around to the fact that he knows tomorrow is a good day. He cant wait and does a few things he might regret but he doesn't care. Tomorrow he is a free man

FireworkBy: Katy Perry
Do you ever feel like a plastic bagDrifting through the wind, wanting to start again?Do you ever feel, feel so paper thinLike a house of cards, one blow from caving in?
Do you ever feel already buried deep?Six feet under screams, but no one seems to hear a thingDo you know that there's still a chance for you'Cause there's a spark in you?
You just gotta ignite the light and let it shineJust own the night like the 4th of July
'Cause baby, you're a fireworkCome on, show 'em what you're worthMake 'em go, oh, oh, ohAs you shoot across the sky
Baby, you're a fireworkCome on, let your colors burstMake 'em go, oh, oh, ohYou're gonna leave 'em falling down
You don't have to feel like a waste of spaceYou're original, cannot be replacedIf you only knew what the future holdsAfter a hurricane comes a rainbow
Maybe you're reason why all the doors are closedSo you could open one that leads you to the perfect roadLike a lightning bolt, your heart will blowAnd when it's time, you'll know
You just gotta ignite the light and let it shineJust own the night like the 4th of July
'Cause baby you're a fireworkCome on, show 'em what you're worthMake 'em go, oh, oh, ohAs you shoot across the sky
Baby, you're a fireworkCome on, let your colors burstMake 'em go, oh, oh, ohYou're gonna leave 'em falling down
Boom, boom, boomEven brighter than the moon, moon, moonIt's always been inside of you, you, youAnd now it's time to let it through
'Cause baby you're a fireworkCome on, show 'em what you're worthMake 'em go, oh, oh, ohAs you shoot across the sky
Baby, you're a fireworkCome on, let your colors burstMake 'em go, oh, oh, ohYou're gonna leave 'em falling down
Boom, boom, boomEven brighter than the moon, moon, moonBoom, boom, boomEven brighter than the moon, moon, moon
Metaphor
A metaphor is describing something without using like or as. Metaphors can put abstract concepts in concrete terms. It also gets the attentions of readers and provide more feeling for readers.I am the Highway
by Bob Seger
Pearls and swine bereft of me.
Long and weary my road has been.
I was lost in the cities, alone in the hills.
No sorrow or pity for leaving, I feel.
I am not your rolling wheels, I am the highway.
I am not your carpet ride, I am the sky.
Friends and liars don't wait for me,
'Cause I'll get on all by myself.
I put millions of miles under my heels;
And still too close to you I feel.
I am not your rolling wheels, I am the highway.
I am not your carpet, I am the sky.
I am not your blowing wind, I am the lightning.
I am not your autumn moon, I am the night… the night.
Yeah, I am not your rolling wheels, I am the highway.I am not your carpet, I am the sky.Well, I am not your blowing wind, I am the lightning.I am not your autumn moon, I am the night... the night.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Colorblind
The promise land is no longer a white cloud but has become a new array of color! Dr. King once said, " We as a people will get to the promise land." Martin Luther King believed that all men and women will get into there own Utopia. It will be a creation that people of this universe will make themselves. Dr. King would be proud of the fact that he accomplished the peoples goal of being able to sit next each other and use the same things etc. But he will also be dissapointed of the fact we took advantage of this.
Dr. King would feel proud of the fact that we as people have accomplished the rewriting of laws. If he went into our classroom he would be proud of all the kids sitting side by side in random order, and it didn't have to matter if you were Asian, white, black, Spanish etc. He would also feel proud that we have today an African American President. Furthermore, he would feel proud that we have advanced into a world where the people truly have the power. We have also advanced into a world where we can stretch our boundaries and explore different aspects of the world and life to chose our own path.
Sadly, for the most part i believe Dr.King would feel dissapointed with our society today. Now a days you hear two of the same races fighting just because someone looked at another. He would be greatly dissapointed with all the "freedom of speech" music we have today and hearing the younger generations vocabulary. Also the effort being put forth for most people would make Dr.King forlorn. Back then it was a privilege to get into a school and get an education. The fact that sagging contributes to this doesn't help the situation. He also wouldn't approve the killings of Iraq i think he would have liked to fight peacefully. Lastly with the fact that kids have the choice to sit anywhere and they choose to sit with there little groups.
Personally, i feel Dr.King would feel this way because of his high elegant. He would want killing between one another because he was more of a peacemaker. According to today's music its ran by the devil. All the message he would have to find out something and feel what have we done to this world. He would greatly would frown upon sagging because of what it is, mean, and where it came from. Dr.king dresses himself with the up most dignity he wouldn't like to see another saying nice underwear color It would make him feel did he really make the right choice. Would this all be different if he didn't do what he did?

The AMAZING world of Hyperboles -_-
Hyperboles is commonly known as an exaggeration. According to to dictionary.com a hyperbole is a obvious and intentional exaggeration or an overstatement. I personally believe that a hyperbole is someone that kind of stretches the truth to an extent that makes it unbelievable. But some hyperboles became true; For example Man will never set foot on the moon. I think hyperboles are important in writing because it brings more life to a writing. It also allows the reading feel what a person is writing.

I let it fall, my heart,
And as it fell you rose to claim it
It was dark and I was over
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me
My hands, they're strong
But my knees were far too weak,
To stand in your arms
Without falling to your feet
But there's a side to you
That I never knew, never knew.
All the things you'd say
They were never true, never true,
And the games you play
You would always win, always win.
[Chorus:]
But I set fire to the rain,
Watched it pour as I touched your face,
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name!
And as it fell you rose to claim it
It was dark and I was over
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me
My hands, they're strong
But my knees were far too weak,
To stand in your arms
Without falling to your feet
But there's a side to you

But I set fire to the rain,
Watched it pour as I touched your face,
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name!
When I lay with you
I could stay there
Close my eyes
Feel you here forever
You and me together
Nothing is better
'Cause there's a side to you
That I never knew, never knew,
All the things you'd say,
They were never true, never true,
And the games you'd play
You would always win, always win.
[Chorus:]
But I set fire to the rain,
Watched it pour as I touched your face,
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name!
I set fire to the rain
And I threw us into the flames
When it fell, something died
'Cause I knew that that was the last time, the last time!
Sometimes I wake up by the door,
That heart you caught must be waiting for you
Even now when we're already over
I can't help myself from looking for you.
[Chorus:]
I set fire to the rain,
Watched it pour as I touched your face,
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name
I set fire to the rain,
And I threw us into the flames
When it fell, something died
'Cause I knew that that was the last time, the last time, ohhhh!
Oh noooo
Let it burn, oh
Let it burn
Let it burn
I could stay there
Close my eyes
Feel you here forever
